Vanilla Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
1 batch of vanilla ice cream
1/2 pan of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Blend ingredients for vanilla ice cream. Freeze for about an hour before putting in ice cream maker. When ice cream is starting to take shape, add frozen semi-sweet chocolate chips. Continue to freeze in ice cream maker until desired consistency. Enjoy!
Cherry Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
2 cups coconut milk or kefir
1 cup homemade sour cream, homemade yogurt, or water
1 cup pitted cherries
½ cup raw honey
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 teaspoons almond flavor
1 cup pitted cherries, halved or chopped
1/2 pan of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Blend first six ingredients. Freeze for about an hour before putting mixture in ice cream maker. Churn in ice cream maker. When ice cream is starting to take shape, add cherries and frozen semi-sweet chocolate chips. Continue to freeze in ice cream maker until desired consistency. Enjoy!
-Any combination of coconut milk, kefir, sour cream, yogurt and water works.
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream
2 cans (28 ounces) coconut milk or 3 1/2 cups homemade yogurt or kefir
3 avocados
1 cup raw honey
1 tablespoon peppermint flavoring
1/2 pan of semi-sweet chocolate chips
Blend first four ingredients. Freeze for about an hour before putting mixture in ice cream maker. Churn in ice cream maker. When ice cream is starting to take shape, add frozen semi-sweet chocolate chips. Continue to freeze in ice cream maker until desired consistency. Enjoy!
-Any combination of coconut milk, yogurt, and kefir works.
Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie
2 chocolate pie crusts
1 batch of mint chocolate chip ice cream
Fill cooled crusts with ice cream. Freeze for at least one hour. Enjoy!
Vanilla Ice Cream
3 cups of any combination of coconut milk, kefir, homemade sour cream, homemade yogurt, or water
½ cup raw honey
1 tbsp vanilla
Mix all ingredients. Chill for about an hour, then transfer to ice cream maker, and churn until desired consistency. Enjoy!
-Add chopped or puréed fruit, Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips, or Caramel Chips toward the end of churning in the ice cream maker.
-Or, top with fruit, Strawberry Jam, or Chocolate Syrup.
-If not adding any goodies when churning in ice cream maker, a double recipe fits.
Ice Cream Sandwiches
Assemble ice cream sandwiches by putting vanilla ice cream between two chocolate cookies. Enjoy!
